Until Then

Most of you know that my sister Sassy has been working on retiring over the summer months. If you need an update on what has been gone on visit over at her place and catch up with her last couple of postings. Today is the day that her retirement is taking effect. Be sure to stop over and see her off. If you want to copy this photo and display on your sidebar feel free.

It isn't a good bye this I know for sure, we will meet her again.

We're so sorry your sister's blog had to be retired. We hope one day it will be resurrected. In the meantime, we are so happy to know you Gracie, for all you do to fill up your mommy and daddy's hearts.

Hi! We will miss Sassy too. She has been a good friends. Sorry it has been so long since we've been around (Joel is teething) and I didn't get to answer your question. I do get in the village and that is why mommy leaves a space for me. Actually, that is part of the reason my villages (we have a Christmas one too) go where they do.

I love looking out that window, so mommy creates a "street" wide enough for me to jump up on and leaves a spot big enough for me to nap in right up by the window. I never mess with anything, and she sprays the cords with "Bitter Apple" spray she found at PetSmart. It makes them taste nasty.

I never chew the people, but they do fall over sometimes when I jump up and the table moves. Mommy uses double sided sticky tape to help keep them standing.

I hope you enjoy your first Halloween Gracie! It is such a fun holiday. I hope your mommy put up your village.

To see her sweet little face just breaks my heart. I have known a long time that this was going to come, but it doens't make it any easier.

Where ever she is, I hope that she is safe, warm, and loved. Who knows. There is always the chance that she could back.

And if not, I am sure that Roscoe and friends were to greet her over the rainbow bridge.

Farwell Sassy. Be well....

Be well, Sassy.

Gracie, I finally went back and read your earlier posts. What a lovely story about how you chose your forever home and Mom and Dad. It sounds like it came at the exactly right time for everyone.
