Final Decorating

The plans for the Halloween party are shaping up. Everything is done but the decorating. Hugo and I found this beautiful fall wreath and thought this would be purrrfect for the party . . .

. . . Hugo guided me in the placement of flowers that needed to be moved . . .

. . .  working together we got this job done in no time at all . . .

. . .  how does that look? Now things are just about ready. See you on Sunday! Bring your friends with you too. Come early and stay late.

Two On Thursday

Hugo and I were hanging out in the kittie condo this morning, he on one level and me on the other, when I realized that he was a little too much fun down below me . . .

. . . I tried to peek down and see what was going on . . .

. . . I couldn't quite see so I had to get a little closer . . .

. . .  when he saw me peeking down I was invited to come on down and play with the hanging leather thingies with him . . .

. . . .  we had soooooooo much fun. I really like having a sibling. I an going to ask my mom if I can get a brother or sister. I bet she wouldn't mind one if they were like Hugo, no trouble at all. After we were done playing we decided to take a rest.  I hope I have a dream about me having a sibling to play with.

A Halloween Monster?

I am so enjoying having Hugo visit me at my place. Today started out like a pretty quiet day . . .

. . . we decided to catch some zzzzs so we settled down together in the kittie condo. This is one of my favorite places to hang out in and I knew Hugo would enjoy it here too.

I was almost asleep when Hugo kept bothering me. He was saying something like hearing noises. I was hoping he would give it up and snuggle back down but I soon realized that this wasn't too be . . .

. . . I heard it! I heard rumbling and other noises that I have never heard before! Then I saw it!! It was big, it was loud, and it didn't belong here!!!

Whatever this monster is called we both knew that we had to keep an eye or two on things to make sure the monster didn't see the house and head for there.

The monster stayed for a long time before it left and never stopped making those rumbling noises the whole time it was here. I think the monster left because it was feeling ill, you see it spit stuff out of it so it must have been sick. I hope if it starts feeling better that it won't come back here.

After the monster left Hugo and I were both in agreement that the mom just doesn't know all that is going on around the house here. You see she never even noticed the monster outside. She just went about her day like it was an ordinary day but the two of us know better than that. Lucky for here that we were on guard today to protect her and the house.
Hope you all had a safe day today.

Hugo Has Arrived!

All week long I have been sitting on pins and needles, not really  that is just an expression, waiting for Hugo to arrive at my house. Hugo had been visiting over at the Chez Cat's and made plans to come to my place next. I kept a watchful eye out all week long then . . .

. . .  I couldn't help but see a package and with careful examination I noticed on the front was the letters
 G, R, A, C, I, E. . . that's me ! . . .

. . . it took me awhile but I worked a long time to open the package . . . this isn't an easy thing to do with paws . . .

. . . I was right! Hugo had arrived along with several gifts from the Chez Cats!  I got some yummy treats, two nippy toys, and the most beautiful stuffed kittie to play with . . . Thanks Lizzie and Connor!!

. . . Hugo show me his photo album with kitties that he has visited and his family history . . . Hugo's family is over at the House of Cats and he has lots of brothers and sisters living there. Me boyfriend, Barney, is Hugo's brother. Isn't that great?! Sure wish Sweet Barney could have come along but he couldn't get away . . .

. . . I am so happy that Hugo is visiting this week as I am giving a Halloween Party on October 31, everyone is invited and I can use the extra help. I just love having Hugo here and cannot stop giving him kisses, some of the kisses he is to take back home and give to Barney from me.

Hugo plans picks his next place to visit when the first comment made asking him to be hosted by you if offered. I will keep an eye out for him and let him know where the next trip will be.

We will be doing lots of fun things this week and will keep all of you informed on what we are up to.

A Few Zzzzzzs

This morning and afternoon you will find me catching up on some extra rest. The granddaughter is heading up to our house later in the day with her folks. Everyone will be going to the children's zoo Halloween for treats. When they get back I am looking forward to spending time with Cara. She is so much fun! She really babys me and gives me lots of treats. So you can see why I need the extra shut eye.

Have a great weekend everyone, I know I certainly will.

SUNday

The mom and dad here are so good about bringing me home toys when they return from the pet store. I really appreciate the news toys but I don't have the heart to tell them that one of my favorite toys is a box. You can have so much fun playing with the boxes. You can climb inside of them, jump into them, jump over them, hide in them, and when you are tired of playing you can snuggle down and catch some zzzzzs.

Keep this our secret as I don't want to hurt the folk's feelings and besides I do like the toys that they bring home to me.

ps: I am not property of USPS

Fall Fun

Now I know why the mom has had little time to help me out with the blogging. Awhile back she took time for herself! Do you believe the nerve? At first I didn't like the idea but then I saw that she was putting new things to explore all around the house. She told me that fall was here and she was decorating the house. I immediately knew that this was a great opportunity for a curious kittie like me. Check it out . . .

. . .  the first thing that caught me eye was this beautiful fall flower arrangement and I immediately knew that I could have lots of fun with this . . .

. . . knowing how much I love to chew on flowers I am not sure why she put it down where I would have no difficulty having my way with it . . .

. . .  oh, oh! You can see by my surprised look on my sweet face that I got busted! How dare she to sneak back into the room to check to make sure I was minding my way. What nerve!

. . . the mom was writing things on the calendar and just put it on the floor for some reason so I decided to take a nap on it. It was most comfy unlike my soft pillow next to me . . . This is a great calendar as each month has a picture of a different kittie on it!

. . . getting ready for JFF's auction I took a naps in the holder for the calendar that you saw in the above photo. I really liked the fall table cloth . . . nice touch mom.

This is my favorite room in the whole house. It is the master bedroom and I so enjoy sleeping here. The mom put on a new fall bedspread which I think is lots more softer than the old one she had on the bed. I don't think she was too mad at me for chewing on the flowers because she gave me this nice mouse with nip in it to play with.

I know sometimes I give the mom a hard time for not working for me but really she isn't such a bad mommie after all. We love each other bunches. I love her so much I pose for her when she gets the flashy box out. That is the least I can do.

Think the house looks nice for fall, good job mom!

LIVESTRONG TODAY

Today, October 2, Livestrong is hosting the wearing of the yellow to raise awarness of the many that live with cancer. This is a terrible disease that affects millions of people world-wide. Each of us probably know of someone fighting cancer now, has lost the fight or within the next couple of years will be affected by someone you know facing the fight of their life.  Wear the yellow today to help raise awareness and honor all that have had to deal with cancer.
